Our 16th Season

Most concerts take place at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell Ln, Davidson, NC 28036.

The November concert will be held at Gethsemane Baptist Church, 565 Jetton St., Davidson.

Concerts begin at 3:00pm, but guests are invited to arrive early 
to hear pre-concert music presented by young artists at 2:20pm. 
We invite you to stay after the concert for a meet-the-artists reception!

Four Horsemen

Composed of Charlotte Symphony Orchestra members led by Thomas Burge, the Four Horsemen will perform classical music spanning the 17th-21st centuries with a quartet of trombones. The musicians will give a talk/demo sponsored by DavidsonLearns prior to the concert from 2:00-2:45pm.

Let by Scott Allen Jarrett, this program features Schutz's ground-breaking Musikalische Exequien, the first "German Requiem composed in 1636. The program also features Bach's double-choir motet, Komm, Jesu, Komm and other motets from the Bach family.

Poisoned Dwarf Celtic Ensemble

The Irish flute, whistle, guitar, Scottish Small-Pipes, banjo, a variety of percussion instruments (including bones and bodhran), accordion, and of course, fiddle, are all brought to the dance for this Williamsburg-based Poisoned Dwarf performance.
