Our 12th Season



All concerts take place at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell Ln, Davidson, NC 28036.


Concerts begin at 3:00pm, but guests are invited to arrive early to hear pre-concert music by young aritsts, beginning at 2:30pm. We invite you to stay after the concert for a meet-the-artists reception!


Tickets are available at the door, or for purchase online.

General admission: $15

Students and Young Adults under 25: $10

Seniors (62+): $10

Children under 12: free

BachFest 2015

with Ariadne Greif

BachFest 2015 features soprano Margaret Carpenter and mezzo-soprano Tamsin Simmell in a program of arias by J.S. Bach and his contemporaries.  Instrumentalists will include: Nicholas Haigh, harpsichord & organ, William Simms, theorbo, and Barbara Blaker Krumdieck, baroque cello.


Bechtler Ensemble Piano Trio

The Bechtler Ensemble brings together a mosaic of Eastern European masters such as Dvorak, Enescu and Prokofiev. Pianist Cynthia Lawing, violinist Joseph Meyer,  and cellist Tanja Bechtler are sure to inspire and surprise you with a few standard works as well as some unique gems. 

Back by popular demand, the A.W. Duo with guest soprano, Ariadne Greif, will present a program of chamber music exploring themes of romantic love in music of the 19th century, from soulful  art songs to sassy parlor music!

Choral Artists

The Lake Norman Choral Artists, with the NCBO Chamber Players, will perform a program of Bach cantatas and Brandenburg concertos on period instruments.

Jazz vocalist Toni Tupponce is joined by Carl Ratliff on saxophone, Ron Brendel on bass, and Keith Davis on piano for this program of jazz, blues, and spirituals.

Young Artists Showcase

We remain dedicated to supporting the artistic growth of young musicians from our community, both through our pre-concert performance opportunities and through this special annual showcase, which features young artists as its main event.


NC Brass Band Quintet

The North Carolina Brass Band Quintet includes some of the very finest virtuoso brass performers in the region. They perform a varied and exciting program of original music for brass, orchestral transcriptions, Broadway, jazz and much more.
